Greystones is a very charming,tranquil and comfortable, former farmhouse dating from circa 1620, which offers 4 star outstanding guest accommodation.<br />Extensively beamed throughout, this delightful 400 year old property has been sympathetically renovated and extended.It has retained a great deal of charm and character with its quirky uneven floors and walls and also the listed original Jacobean staircase.<br />Greystones offers a choice of two lovely guest rooms in the main farmhouse.<br />The large double master suite,Fleur de Lys, tastefully furnished with French Country furniture and having an en suite shower room.<br />or<br />The Greystones suite which has a lovely beamed double bedroom, its own private cosy sitting room and a private bathroom with shower.<br /><br />Guests also have the choice of staying in the luxurious, superbly converted Hayloft apartment, situated in the private courtyard. <br />The chic loft provides a huge mahogany fourposter bed, goosedown quilt and crisp egyption cotton bedlinen. Total luxury for that romantic get-away experience! There is also a cosy area to relax in with DVD/TV and CD player<br />The beatiful bathroom has a heart shaped bath for two, underfloor heating and special lighting to enable you to relax.All toileteries, towels, and soft fluffy gowns are provided for your stay.<br />A bistro style kitchen complete with dishwasher, fridge, microwave and hob enables you to make a gourmet dinner or a light snack. A breakfast hamper is provided for you for your first morning.<br /><br />Greystones is situated in the tiny conservation village of South Scarle, between the bustling market town of Newark and the Cathedral City of Lincoln.<br />There are plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area. Sherwood Forest, Southwell Minster, and a variety of National Trust properties are all close by.
